ONE Recovery will be located at the Sea King Connection at Corona Del Mar High School during the upcoming school year.

CDM is the home of ONE’s first community based support group. CDM opened its’ doors to allow the community to benefit from ONE’s innovative approach to support. ONE offered support for any struggle; home, grades, restricting, purging, depression, drugs, alcohol, self-harm or just life. There need not be any struggle to attend, only a desire to connect.

CDM utilizes the Detention/Suspension Program of ONE. An adolescent can option to attend 8 ONE meetings while their parent commits to the same in the parent group in lieu of being suspended or in detention.

Lynne Pedersen, Founder of ONE developed this positive consequences model over 25 years ago in Pasadena. It is more powerful today. At CDM this past year, it allowed several students to go on to Universities and not lose their acceptance for a one time lack of judgement or mistake of youth.

ONE gave them the opportunity to raise their awareness and emerge with gratitude from the participation within ONE and CDM for opening their doors to this life altering program. A place where inspiration is the medication and the connection is truly human.
